Community Auto
I had the pleasure of working with Patti (and colleagues) at Community Auto Center yesterday. I have never been to an automotive shop as organized, professional and friendly as this one. I took a truck in that I was considering buying for an inspection. It was an older truck with a lot of miles. The owner of the truck kept insisting the truck was in excellent condition. I knew by looking at the truck that wasn't the case although, wanted to know what might be wrong as it may still be worth negotiating. I didn't buy the truck, however I did find a place I can take my autos if they ever need work. Being a car person since I was young building dune buggies with my dad, owning a 60 Corvette, 67 Corvette, 34 Ford chopped and lowered plus working in our family wrecking yard from 13 years old till I was 19, pulling parts from motor mounts to transmissions. Then worked at Midas Muffler for five years till I opened my own business in Carbondale CO (a blasting company). My cousin raced late model stock cars in the early 70's where I always drove in the powerpuffs. Yes, I'm somewhat of a tomboy therefore, I feel I can say the above with authority!
